Our dog Luna got an edible nylabone for Christmas this year and hid it behind a chair. I put it on top of the end table while she wasn’t looking to see how long it would take her to notice. At 1:12, she becomes aware that it is no longer where she first “buried” it. She then proceeds to find a new place to put it.

Natural bones are a big hit in my house.

I usually buy the ones that aren’t filled since I don’t know how long the stuff has been in there. But I sometimes stuff them with cheese or peanut butter for an extra treat. But even plain the dogs love ’em. Just be warned, they hurt when you accidentally stub your toe on one!

Of course raw, meaty bones are always a fave in my house. They don’t last all that long, and the dogs have to be crated to get them, but once or twice a week it’s a special treat.
